Who qualifies as a small or diverse supplier?
Small or diverse suppliers that meet Teradata’s procurement qualifications can apply to work with Teradata in transforming how businesses work and people live through the power of data. This includes businesses that are majority owned, controlled and operated by individuals from one or more of the following groups:
Minorities
Diversity is in our DNA, from our customers and employees to our core values. That’s just one reason we’re proud to support minority-owned businesses. Teradata recognizes diverse certifications from a variety of third-party agencies, including the National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC).
LGBT community
We’re honored to stand with the LGBT community in continuing to build allyship, awareness, and acceptance. As part of that commitment, we’re thrilled to support LGBT-owned businesses such as those certified by the National LGBT Chamber of Commerce (NGLCC).
Small businesses
Small businesses are a vital part of the community, contributing to innovation, connectedness, and economic growth. If your business meets the small business criteria, as defined by the Small Busines Administration (SBA) or similar criteria in your country, let’s get a conversation started.
Women
Women are underrepresented in the tech industry, but we’re working hard to change that. One of the ways we’re doing that is by partnering with women-owned businesses. Veterans
It’s a privilege to honor our veterans and their service by supporting veteran and service-disabled veteran-owned businesses. Teradata recognizes diverse certifications from a variety of third-party agencies, including the National Veteran-Owned Business Association (NAVOBA).
HUBZone
Small businesses in Historically Underutilized Business Zones (HUBZone) help bring crucial job opportunities and economic growth to the communities that need it most. Our supplier diversity outreach efforts
Teradata participates in outreach activities throughout the year —including seminars and conferences—to provide support to and increase opportunities for diverse suppliers to do business with Teradata.

Teradata’s commitment to diversity
